Medical & Nutrition News
We are building a careful news service for health and nutrition updates. It is not live yet.
No articles published yet
No articles have been approved for publication. Our news pipeline is still in development. No article has passed editorial and clinical review yet, so none are published. When an article passes review, it will appear on this page with its sources and review date.
How a story will get here
- Official sources only. Stories start from official sources, such as public-health agencies, health ministries, medicines regulators and peer-reviewed journals. We do not use press releases from product sellers, social media posts or rumours as sources.
- Licence check. Before we quote or reuse anything, we check the source’s terms. If reuse is not allowed, we write our own summary and link to the original.
- Human editor. A human editor checks every story against its sources, for accuracy, plain language and balance, before it can be published. Software may help find and sort updates, but it does not decide what is published.
- Clinical review for treatment, medicine and safety news. Any story about a treatment, a medicine or a safety warning also needs review by a qualified clinician before it is published.
Corrections and retractions
If we find a mistake in a published story, we will correct it and add a dated note saying what changed. If a story turns out to be wrong in a way a correction cannot fix, or its source is withdrawn, we will retract it and leave a short dated notice explaining why. To report a possible error, email [email protected].
What news will not do
- It will not give personal medical advice, diagnose conditions or tell you to start, stop or change a medicine or its dose.
- It is general education. For decisions about your health, talk to a doctor, registered dietitian or pharmacist.
In the meantime, our health topics and vitamin and supplement guides explain the basics, with sources. Read our medical & AI disclaimer.
